My 2023 Holiday Viewing...

I always like to watch themed movies during the different holidays, and the Christmas 2023 season I kept my tradition alive, though I didn't have time to watch as much as I would have liked to.

Though I did watch a few classic holiday specials, like Charlie Brown, The Grinch, He-Man and She-RA, and Pee Wee's Playhouse, I'm devoting this post to sharing my list of Christmas Horror I found time to view! I'm not getting too deep or reviewing, because of time constraints, so I'm just sharing the movie posters with a short blurb.

I'm gonna get planning for next years Christmas viewing. Maybe I should see what I can find for Valentine's Day horror too? Send me suggestions. I'm @thestevestrout on social media.

Have you seen any of these? What did you watch?

The Steve & Crypto Show Episodes 129-133

Uh Oh! Did you fall behind again on The Steve & Crypto Show?

Let's remedy that by sharing Episodes 129-133 of your "3rd Favorite Podcast". The Steve & Crypto Show, with you!

This batch of episodes features a few from our Halloween series, which was an absolute blast, including visits from Lord Blood-Rah, Kunk Fu Vampire, Russell Hodgkinson TJ Tranchell and the legendary Svengoolie!

We also recap a couple events Crypto Zoo and I were invited as guests at, The Grit City Comic Show and the Fall Festicon, both here in Washington State.

This was a fun batch of episodes. If you dig em, leave a review or rating on your favorite podcast app! We appreciate you.

The Steve & Crypto Show Episodes 124-128

Hopefully you are caught up on The Steve & Crypto Show episodes, but if not, we got you covered with episodes 124 through 128! This run of episodes feature a two part conversation with monster kid, author, and filmmaker, Sam Irvin, and we kick off the first coupole episodes of The Steve & Crypto Show Halloween Special. YEAH! We did four episodes throughout October in celebration of the best holiday of the year...Halloween!

Cool Projects 42...Spooky Theatre!

I've been very busy this "Halloween Season", between my commitment to watching a horror or spooky themed film or television show every day in October, recording voice acting parts, writing, being guests at spooky season events with my podcast (The Steve & Crypto Show), and producing said podcasts' run of Halloween Specials.  It's been a grind, but I found time to check out some "spooky theatre", which is a little out of the norm for me. A regional theatre company here on the Olympic Peninsula in Western Washington, called Olympic Theatre Arts, adapted my personal favorite horror movie, Night Of The Living Dead, and I couldn't miss this opportunity.

Steve & Crypto Halloween Special Extras...

If you're a regular here at thestevestrout.com, you know that I am the co-host of the Rondo Award nominated podcast, The Steve & Crypto Show. Every Halloween, we do a special episode with big guest, music and lots more...

This year we went all out and did 4 huge episodes to celebrate the Spooky Season. On Part 4, which just released, I mentioned a few table top games, that are perfect for Halloween time, and since our show is audio, I figured I oughtta supplement the episode with some visuals of the games I mentioned, so here goes:

I will mention the producer of the game, and where applicable, I will drop an Amazon associate link to buy the game. Keep in mind, I may receive a small commission on sales (probably percentage of pennies on the dollar HAHAHAHA) through the Amazon links.
