SOCIAL DISTANCING Ideas...

In the last post I shared a press release from a top comic book company sharing free comics to read digitally. Reading is definitely one of the best, and most enjoyable, ways to pass time in my opinion...though not the only way.

I found a few great articles online for you guys to check out sharing some fantastic ideas how to pass the hours. It's looking like this situation is going to take some time to get through, so the more ideas the better!

WIRED shared a list of great time killing games for your Android and Apple devices. Are you guys playing any of these yet?: https://www.wired.com/gallery/best-mobile-games/

USA TODAY published this list of 20 new books to read while social distancing. Theres a few that look intriguing to myself: https://www.usatoday.com/picture-gallery/entertainment/books/2020/03/18/new-spring-books-reading-guide-coronavirus-social-distancing/5075269002/

The BUT WHY THOUGH podcast listed a series of bingeable shows, including WHAT WE DO IN THE SHADOWS, which I loved. I plan to dig in to HUNTERS on Amazon Prime too!: https://butwhythopodcast.com/2020/03/18/ten-binge-worthy-shows-to-watch-while-you-practice-social-distancing/

Speaking of binge watching shows, you can a seamlessly neverending amount of stuff to stream online on multiple services for free or close to it, which this article from ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY covers: https://ew.com/tv/coronavirus-quarantine-deals-stream-for-free/?did=503909-20200320&utm_campaign=ewk-tv_newsletter&utm_source=ew.com&utm_medium=email&utm_content=032020&cid=503909&mid=31157231703

Some of the best ideas come from my friend and media personality, Bonnie Burton. Bonnie is a geek extraordinaire known for authorong books on Star Wars crafting, the Art of Abominable, the Wizarding World of Harry Potter,  comic books and more. She stays busy writing articles for CNET sharing her love of all things geeky and pop culture related, and has shared a series of articles with ideas to keep ya busy during these times including this gem: https://www.cnet.com/google-amp/news/fun-star-wars-craft-activities-to-keep-kids-occupied-during-the-coronavirus-lockdown/?__twitter_impression=true

Be sure to follow Bonnie Burton on Twitter at www.twitter.com/bonniegrrl! She shares all her great articles there!

I'll probably share some more ideas when I find or think of any. What are you guys during during your quarantine? What shows are you watching? What are you reading? How are you avoiding going stir crazy? Let us know!

Please, I urge you all to practice safe habits. Social distancing is a great weapon against Covid-19, so please, spend as little time in public and away from groups. Wash your hands too! Keep following your local media outlets and the CDC (https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-nCoV/index.html) for updates on the Covid-19 virus and how to keep safe.
